18/11/09 Water Meadows to re-open after legionella scare

Council chiefs have confirmed Mansfields Water Meadows Swimming Cimplex will re-open, the complex had been closed as a precautionary measure when traces of legionella were identified within the water supply system for the showers.

Since the closure, work had been carried out to sterilise the water system, which had been flushed and cleaned every day.
